I-35 Coalition

The North Metro I-35W Corridor Coalition was established in 1996 to advocate for transportation system investments in the Corridor in order to reduce congestion and increase mobility for residents and businesses. Having completed its mission by playing a crucial role in securing funding for major improvements between Highway 36 in Roseville to Lino Lakes, the Coalition dissolved in 2019.

The I-94 West Corridor Coalition

The I-94 West Corridor Coalition comprises businesses, individuals, and government agencies committed to improving I-94 and its support facilities. Short- and long-term improvements to I-94 will generate economic benefits, improve freight and passenger car mobility and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors.

The mission of the Coalition is to provide a strong, united voice to advocate for and address transportation concerns along the I-94 corridor, from Maple Grove to St. Cloud. NMMA understands the importance to the entire North Metro of increasing the capacity and efficiency of I-94 in the North Metro and beyond.

Highway 10 Working Group

The Highway 10 Working Group has been planning and advocating for improvements to Highway 10 through Coon Rapids, Anoka, and Ramsey which will affect the entire North Metro. Eliminating stop lights, increasing capacity, updating bridges, and other improvements will increase the efficiency of transporting goods, services, and people through one of Minnesota’s busiest corridors and is actively supported by NMMA.

North Trunk Highway 65 Corridor Coalition

This coalition of Minnesota townships, cities and counties located along the North Trunk Highway 65 corridor who are working together to enhance safety and manage congestion to support economic development along the Highway 65 Corridor. As an existing coalition of North Metro cities who are all affected by conditions surround 65, NMMA provides substantial political and strategic weight to the 65 Corridor Coalition.
